1:1 Counselling / Therapy can allow you to have the time and space you need to process your feelings and thoughts. Sometimes, dealing with intense emotions can be difficult, especially if you’re trying to do it on your own. Talking therapy can help you make sense of your experiences and perhaps, see things from a different perspective. This is a safe place where you won’t feel judged and you’ll have an opportunity to truly be yourself so you can explore whatever is on your mind. My belief is that there is no set format for how therapy should be. We are all our own individuals and I always aim to tailor my approach around client needs. As an integrative therapist I may incorporate different approaches in therapy including person centered counseling, solution focused brief therapy, CBT etc. My particular interests include working with anxiety, trauma and sexual/gender identity.
