Service Description

Walk and Talk Therapy is a bit different from traditional indoor therapy. The sessions normally take place outside walking side by side and talking about whatever may be on your mind or going on in your life. The dynamic nature of this type of therapy can help you release tension and stimulate new ideas. Also, if your job involves sitting in an office all day, the idea of sitting in a room once again for your counseling session can put you off from seeking support. Being outdoors and talking about your issues enhances the renewal of a sense of freedom, which subsequently helps you feel more empowered and capable of dealing with life’s challenges. Connecting with nature can be of massive help when trying to process your own thoughts and feelings. The combination of fresh air and walking can allow you to engage more easily in the therapy process and also feel more grounded as you are moving forward (literally and metaphorically). Sessions can take place in different rural locations / nature parks in the area and are to be agreed at time of booking.
